Hair Analysis

Hair Analysis is a tool that allows us to take an 'external biopsy' of nutritional information for heavy metal toxicity and mineral deficiencies.

We are all subject to heavy metal exposure such as aluminum, mercury, chromium, arsenic and many others. These metals block the abosorption of nutrients and can cause symptoms such as headaches, stomach distress, depression, skin irritations and many more.

Having a hair analysis is very valuable when interpreted with the nutritien deficiencies of blood testing, medical and symptom history.

I had 17 silver/mercury amalgams removed from my teeth and after detoxifying from the stores in my body, my depression lifted, my migraine headaches subsided and my overall sense of wellbeing increased.

Hair is clipped  from the nape of the neck an a number of different spots. A heaping tablespoon of hair within 1 1/2 inches of the scalp is needed.  The laboratory analyses it and sends a detailed report.

An example regarding mineral levels:
If your blood calcium is normal and your hair calcium is low, and your dietary intake of calcium/magnesium/D3 is low, then you might be pulling calcium from your bones to maintain your blood levels and developing osteoprosis.  This is why both dietary, supplements, blood and hair must be looked at as a team in researching a clients health status.
